The manufacture of hydraulic power units, hydraulic control stations and control blocks represents a core competence of Hunger. We manufacture customized hydraulic units for any size and for a wide range of applications. Power units for pressure ranges between 50 and 700 bar and pump flow rates up to 10,000 l/min are part of the standard portfolio of Hunger Maschinen GmbH.

In this way we are always setting new international guidelines in bridge construction: for the Castle Bridge in St. Petersburg, for example, Hunger supplied the hydraulic power unit for actuating two main bridge cylinders as well as the complete electrical control system including control panel. The different bridge construction types, architectural peculiarities and changing traffic situations require a completely new hydraulic development each time.

From the time of project planning, great attention is paid to safety and quality. Extensive testing and acceptance cycles prove the reliability of all hydraulic components. A wide variety of demands are placed on the components, since not only the weight of entire bridge sections is moved, but the Hunger products are also exposed to extreme weather conditions.
